THERMOCOOL® Bi-directional Catheter is a steerable, multiple electrode catheter with a deflectable tip to facilitate electrophysiological mapping of the heart and to transmit RF (radiofrequency) current to the catheter tip electrode for ablation purposes.


Features & Benefits:

  • High-torque polyurethane shaft with a deflectable tip section that includes an array of platinum electrodes
  • All electrode may be used for recording and stimulation, but only the tip electrode may be used to deliver RF energy from the generator
  • Available with either a thermocouple or thermistor temperature sensor





THERMOCOOL® SF
Catheter

Advance open irrigation to a new level with the THERMOCOOL® SF Catheter. Innovative catheter design allows for uniform cooling across the entire catheter tip at half the flow rate. The advanced porous tip design enables maximum cooling efficiency regardless of catheter orientation, helping to further reduce the risk of thrombus formation.1,2

CELSIUS® Diagnostic/Ablation Deflectable Tip Catheter is a multi-electrode device, which provides electrophysiological mapping of the heart and transmits radio frequency (RF) current to the catheter tip electrode for ablation purposes. Both braided and standard non-braided tip models are available.


Features & Benefits:

  • High-torque shaft with a deflectable tip section containing an array of platinum electrodes
  • All electrodes may be used for recording and stimulation, but only the tip electrode may be used to deliver RF energy from the generator
  • Tip deflection is controlled at the proximal end by a tubular handpiece in which a piston slides; a thumb knob on the piston controls piston travel



THERMOCOOL® SF Bi-Directional Catheter


CELSIUS® DS
Bi-Directional Catheter

CELSIUS® DS Diagnostic/Ablation Catheter (8 mm tip electrode) is a steerable, multi-electrode catheter with a deflectable tip. The catheter measures temperature at two locations via a pair of thermocouples.


Features & Benefits:

  • 7 F in diameter and has a usable length of 115 cm
  • Deflectable tip of the DS catheter has one 8 mm platinum/iridium tip electrode and three platinum/iridium ring electrodes used for pacing and recording ECG signals
  • Spacing will be 0.5 – 1.5 mm between the tip and 1st ring electrode, 5.5 – 6.5 mm between the 1st and 2nd ring electrodes, and 1.5 – 2.5 mm between the 2nd and 3rd ring electrodes

  • Eleven different curves, designated “A” through “D”, posteroseptal D, “E” through “H”, “J” and “K” (from 1.5” to 4.0” radius) are available
